The FGLT is an incorporated society.

The Referendum Constitution was tailored to provide a framework for the Levy Establishment Board to allow the machinery of governance to be put in place. Much of the wording in this document immediately became obsolete as soon as the existing Board replaced the Establishment Board in early December 2013. At a special general meeting of members held on 22 October 2014 it was resolved to adopt a revised constitution. This was registered with the Registrar of Incorporated Socieites on 6 November 2014.
